Captain Bo Johnson has been fishing on the Professional Redfish circuit for a number of years, competing against the world's top Redfish anglers on both the ESPN O-Boy Oberto Redfish Cup, and the founding circuit, the IFA Redfish Tour.

Following a great year in 2005, Captain Bo stepped up in the O-Boy Oberto Redfish Cup and won the 2006 Punta Gorda qualifier going away, and shortly after won the 2006 Professional Tarpon Cup Championship on Father's Day, 2006. Bo has had another great year with top 5 finishes on the IFA Redfish Tour, the ESPN Redfish Cup, and finished in 16th place in the FLW Redfish Series 2006 Points, 2nd Place in the IFA Florida Western Division Points, and 6th Place in the O-Boy Oberto 2006 Points standings.

In 2005 alone, Captain Bo, along with partner Mike Del Duca, won both the IFA Redfish Tour Pro event in Darien, Georgia, and the prestigous IFA Redfish Tour 2005 Championship held in Ruskin, Florida.

With strong finishes on the FLW Redfish Series, O-Boy Oberto Redfish Cup and IFA Redfish Tour circuits, the entire Lake and Bay Boat Team had a great showing in 2005, 2006, and is out to repeat that again in 2007!
In 2007, off to a great start, Bo finished 9th in the All-Stars event at Clearwater, and then finished 4th in the FLW Redfish Series also at Clearwater with Richard Hudec.
Bo and Rich had the pleasure of having video expert Mike Edwards along for recording the FLW event, which as usual with BO, turned out to be a very long, very fast ride.

Mike Edwards will be shortly deployed for active duty with the US Armed Forces and Bo's message to Mike is as Follows:

"Thanks for everything, it has been a pleasure having you as a camera guy and now you will serve our country so that we may continue to live and do as we please. Our thoughts and good wishes go with you and we will see ya' when ya get back and hopefully it will be on a shorter run.
Thanks again and take care Mike "the camera guy"."
